ADMISSION

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Admission of children of serving Air Force personnel is made at any time during the academic session, subject to the stipulations laid down by CBSE for classes IX–XII.
  2. Admission for civilians is subject strictly to seat availability.

Priority Guidelines

  1. Serving Air Force personnel are to be given registration forms as and when they arrive.
  2. Vacancies for civilians are to be approved by the Chairman SMC and subject to seat availability.
  3. Registration forms are issued from 15th February to 15th March (Tentative).

Priority 1: Personnel of Service Running School

  • Serving personnel (Incl DSC) posted in station/city.
  • Family staying in Separated Family/SPR accommodation in station/city, personnel on deputation (NSG, DRDO etc), superannuated personnel who exercised home station choice in last year of service.
  • Widows.

Priority 1A: Personnel from Other Services

  • Serving personnel on deputation with service running the school.
  • Personnel serving in Tri-Services organisation.
  • Widows.

Priority 1B

  • Serving personnel not on deputation but posted in station/city.
  • Serving personnel of Indian Coast Guard (ICG).

Priority 1C

  • ESM of service running school residing in city/station (with pension / medical invalidation).
  • Serving personnel from other services who have chosen city/station as SPR.
  • Wards of school staff.

Priority 2 & 2A

  • ESM of service running school not residing in station (with pension).
  • ESM of other services (with pension).

Priority 2B

  • Defence civilians working with service running the school in same station/city.

Priority 3 & 3A

  • ESM (without pension).
  • Medical invalidation without pension.

Priority 3B / 3C

  • Personnel of all three services not categorized as ESM.
  • Defence civilians working with other services.

Priority 4A / 4B

  • Grandchildren of Service Personnel.
  • All others.

Documents Required

  • Birth Certificate issued by a competent authority.
  • Transfer Certificate (if applicable).
  • Report card/marksheet from previous school.
  • Proof of address (Aadhaar, Passport, Utility Bill).
  • Passport size photographs of student and parents.

Admission Procedure

  1. Admission for civilians is subject strictly to seat availability.
  2. Registration forms will be issued only after Priority Notice is published on website.
  3. Collect registration form from school office only after notice; entire process is offline.
  4. Submit completed form with required documents.
  5. Attend interaction session or entrance test (if applicable).
